If you want to engage in a really long-term campaign with uncertain results, check that your technical equipment meets the following requirements:

Optics

The refractor has the advantage of the absence of diffraction spikes that make it difficult to remove the background. We take refractors from 10 cm in diameter.

Of the reflectors, newtonians with a corrected field are ideal. Minimum aperture 25 cm.

Camera

CMOS with the sensor as big as possible. We need to reach the field of view with a diameter of about 60 angular minutes.

Filters

Narrowband 6 nm or less. Any of the Hα 656.3 nm, [O III] 500.7 nm, [S II] 671.6 nm, He II 468.6 nm, He I 587.5 nm, [N II] 658.4 nm

Mount

Any quality, guiding preferably off-axis, dithering option.

If you have something to offer, please fill out the following form. By filling in, you do not aically become part of the campaign. This will be followed by personal contact with the coordinator. Only then will your lineup appear among the telescopes involved.

For example, how many hours of observation time you are able to dedicate for the campaign?
